I have known about the airplanes attributed to him (the Lysander, Whirlwind, Canberra, Lightning, and the Folland Gnat) since I was very young, in the late 60s to early 70s. These aircraft constitute the reason I bought the book in the first place. It was|About the Author|Glyn Davies is a former head of the department of aeronautics and Pro-Rector of the Imperial College in London.
