Some of the political/financial information was sleep-inducing, but that's part of making a complete history. The author's feelings towards VTOL/STOVL aircraft are very forthright getting to preachy, and I'd like to see an indep|About the Author|Andrew Dow worked in the aviation industry for Bristol Siddeley and then Rolls-Royce between 1962 and 1991.
